Read update status
Return the cached release availability and persistent update operation. The backend assigns the Beta build to Dev-enrolled devices and the Stable build to other devices. A different assigned build can be older than the running build. Requires the **viewer** role; remains available while locked.
curl -X GET "https://example.com/api/updates"{ "operation": { "id": "string", "target": "string", "phase": "preparing", "error": "string", "recoveryAvailable": true, "previousTransactionID": "string" }, "current": "string", "commit": "string", "available": true, "latestVersion": "string", "notes": "string", "url": "http://example.com", "checkFailed": true, "reason": "unreachable", "devMode": true}Upload a file POST
Upload a file. The destination is given by the `root` and `path` query parameters and the `name`; the raw file bytes are the request body. Requires the **admin** role.
Check for updates now POST
Force a fresh check against the update server (the GET serves a cached status) and return the new status. Automatic checks run at startup, every 55 to 60 minutes, and when overdue after wake or restored connectivity. Concurrent checks join one request. A network failure retains a previously found update. Requires the **viewer** role; remains available while locked. Local developer builds and configurations with updates disabled do not contact the backend.
